Overwatch 2 is on the way and until it arrives, players still enjoy the first game, Overwatch. In order to keep the hype going, Blizzard Entertainment and Amazon have agreed on a deal that includes 3 free Overwatch loot boxes which are available on Prime Gaming. It is only available for a limited time so don’t forget to grab yours before it ends!

Overwatch loot boxes include many different in-game cosmetics and such, divided into tiers. Players are trying to open as many loot boxes as possible as they will not be a feature of the upcoming game, Overwatch 2. Happily, players’ cosmetics will be carried to their Overwatch 2 inventory but they will lose the loot boxes that were yet to be opened. If you want to improve your cosmetic inventory before the release of the new game, this might be the last chance of yours to get more skins throughout loot boxes!

What You Need To Do?

First things first, you need to be subscribed to the Amazon Prime Gaming platform. The costs depend on the region you live in but the company offers a 30-day trial for those who want to first see the benefits it offers. After subscribing to Prime Gaming, then you will need to link your account to it in order to receive your gifts. Once you are done with the first two steps, now you can claim the gifts and they will automatically appear for the game account.

Moreover, Prime Gaming offers a wider span of in-game contents and even actual free games. By subscribing to the platform, players can obtain a couple of free games which resets monthly. In-game contents includes games like VALORANT, League of Legends, FIFA, Wild Rift, Call of Duty Warzone, Fall Guys and several different popular games. Users also get a free Twitch subscription that they can use once every month on their favorite streamer.

Overwatch 2 Removing Loot Boxes

However, there is some upsetting news for the players who like gaining cosmetics from loot boxes. Firstly, the “Overwatch 2 removes loot boxes” news hit distressingly. Also, Spain decided to regulate loot boxes as the officials think the concept refers to gambling even though it was criticized by many experts and players.

Just like every other game, chances depend on both luck and knowledge in Overwatch betting. In loot boxes though, the only thing that you have is basically luck but it still means that you are gambling in a way. However, betting in Overwatch is quite different as you mainly bet on real matches especially for the Overwatch League.

Before the release of the new game, it is recommended that players who have Prime Gaming claim the loot boxes and open them as soon as possible. With this, you will have better cosmetics which will help you flex against rookies in Overwatch 2!
