Quincy Crew set for another trophy at BTS Pro Series NA Season 3

Published: Sep 11, 2020 - Last Updated: Jul 13, 2023

Beyond the Summit is back once again, with a tri-regional Dota 2 competition. The BTS Pro Series Season 3 will simultaneously happen in North America, Europe, and Asia. A prize pool of $150,000 has been reserved for all three regions (50k each), with the winner of each region entitled to $21,000.

The European and Asian series are set to begin tomorrow, while the North American series is already underway. The main favorite, Quincy Crew, is yet to play a single game at the event. Their schedule is packed for the entire week as they plow towards another BTS trophy.

Quincy Crew reigns supreme

The North American Dota 2 scene is mostly synonymous with Evil Geniuses. For the past several years, whenever someone thinks NA Dota they usually refer to EG.

This mentality is changing, however. The Quincy Crew roster (former Chaos EC) is taking the regional scene by storm. In the past four months, they have won six regional events back to back and are currently the best team in North America.

The supremacy began with the addition of Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos to the roster back in June. QC has only dropped three series in total since then. Once each to Beastcoast, 4 Zoomers and CR4ZY, and always in the early stages of a tournament.

With EG moving to Europe during the pandemic, Quincy Crew now has no opposition left in North America, and are destined to defend their BTS Pro Series trophy.

BTS Pro Series Season 3 North America

Ten teams are battling for the BTS trophy in North America. A single round-robin group stage will determine the eight playoffs participants and the first two teams to kick the bucket.

Apart from QC and the three standard competitors we already mentioned the participants’ list contains:

Only Team Zero is actually an NA team from this entire list, the rest come from all across South America.

Based on the little matches played thus far, Beastcoast is the only squad with enough firepower to actually win a series. A ton of games have finished with a draw with each squad winning a game.

We already covered our general match predictions in our Dota 2 predictions section, and now we are set to extend this list with specific Quincy Crew exotic bets.

The QC roster has nine match-ups ahead of them starting on September 12th. Their first victim will be Havan Liberty with odds already available at different Dota 2 betting providers.

With x1.72 coefficients for First Blood on both matches, you can make easy single bets twice at GG.BET in order to build your bankroll.

Moving forward, Quincy has a match a day for every day of the week and two matches per day on the 17th and 18th of September. You can easily bet outright for Quincy Crew to win every matchup except Beastcoast and 4 Zoomers.

These two matches might end in a draw or a loss as they are near the end of the group stage, and QC might decide to keep their tactics secret for Playoffs.

In all other matches, you can bet on Map Duration being under 34 minutes, as Quincy Crew likes closing out games relatively quickly.

Overall, you can place at least ten singles bets on Quincy Crew before playoffs. All of them will have odds in excess of x1.7 return on the initial bet amount. If you keep betting the same amount and lose 1-2 out of the 10, you are still building a nice bankroll from the Group Stages.

Do keep in mind that QC is the absolute favorite at this event, and you can easily bet for them to Win Outright if the betting market is available.
