With only a handful of matches remaining, one of these teams will walk away as the international winners. Two Favourites, Two Surprises
Reaching the final four for these teams has involved fighting through an opening Swiss Stage and winning their opening Playoff matches to become esports betting favourites.

G2 Stride – Locked for the Final?
Ahead of the tournament, G2 Stride was given the second-best outright Rocket League odds of winning RLCS Major 2, right under Team BDS. Their rebuilt roster from December has remained rock solid.
Finishing second at RLCS 2024 Major 1 Copenhagen, they’ve maintained their consistency throughout the regionals and at this tournament, losing only one match to Team Falcons.
For their Semi-final match against FURIA, the esports odds favour them (-257) to come out on top and book a spot in the Grand Final. We may get a complete replay of the Major 1 finals if they go up against Gentle Mates Alpha again. Perhaps this time, this legendary organization can reclaim the throne.
FURIA – Underdogs Again
Historically the best team from South America, FURIA Esports has another opportunity to make history for the rising region in the RLCS.
Ranked within the top 10 best Rocket League teams ahead of RLCS Major 2, nobody expected them to make it this far after placing 5-8th at the last Major. Barely clinching a Playoffs spot, thanks to epic victories against Gentle Mates and Oxygen Esports, it wasn’t an easy road for them.
Despite this, their Quarterfinals performance against Team Vitality was a statement – this team can take on anybody. In this rematch, FURIA smashed Team Vitality (a tournament favourite) in 4-1 fashion.
While they aren’t favoured against G2 (+117), we wouldn’t count them out at all.
Team Falcons – MENA Menaces
Team Falcons is the greatest surprise at RLCS Major 2.
With pre-tournament rankings listing them beneath FURIA, they smashed the Swish Stage taking down giants such as Team BDS and G2 Esports. Specifically, their win over G2 Esports was a 3-0 sweep.
Carrying their dominance from the MENA region, the Quarterfinals match against Gen.G had them disassemble another international favourite in Gen.G Mobil1 Racing.
So, just like FURIA, Team Falcons are in a position to make history at this tournament for their region. All they need to do is take down another giant in Gentle Mates to book their place in the Grand Final. Although they are narrowly unfavoured (+152), they’ve always managed to upset so far.
Gentle Mates – Defending Champions
Last but not least, Gentle Mates are your defending international champions from RLCS Major 1.
Consistency, when you are at the top, can be so difficult considering everyone is preparing to face you.
Accordingly, Gentle Mates did fall flat in the Open Qualifiers ahead of the RLCS Major, concerning their fans ever so slightly. However, once RLCS Major 2 kicked off, they got back into gear.
Besides an early slip-up against FURIA, Gentle Mates secured Playoffs with a vital win over Team BDS, only to face them again in the Playoffs and beat them once again.
In our opinion, considering they’ve only beaten average teams and Team BDS (who has been struggling) twice, we don’t agree with Rocket League betting bookmakers favouring them to win against Team Falcons (-218).
