KeSPA Cup 2019 Format and Prizes

The KeSPA Cup 2019 is an all-inclusive esports tournament that features CK qualifiers and KeG Championship, in addition to the elite South Korean League of Legends teams. Betway esports covers the entire tournament, including the elimination and qualifying rounds that precede the playoffs. Games are best of three and the winners of each bracket move on to the decisive rounds to claim a share of the ₩144 million prize pool.

SKT1 are the main favorites, followed by other LCK giants such as Damwon and Griffin. All of them will play directly in the quarterfinals, with one of these matches being already scheduled for December 30. The semifinals and the grand final will require up to five matches to decide the winner and these matches will be played on January 3 and 4.

KT Rolster, Hanwha Life and Gen.G Showcase LCK Might

LCK teams are head and shoulders above their opponents from the CK qualifiers and KeG Championship, something clearly reflected by the odds offered by Rivalry. KT Rolster have had a disappointing season, but they are still expected to crush Ulsan in the elimination round. The former champions are priced at 1/10 to win and the odds on them to cover the -1.5 games spread currently stand at 7/20.

Gen.G’s late-season resurgence didn’t matter in the end, as they were eliminated from the LCK playoffs. Now they have the opportunity to make amends as they play against GC Busan Ascension where they get odds of 1/20. The most lopsided match of the day is the one between Hanwha Life and ESC Ever, where the best esports odds available at ArcaneBet barely hit 1/30.

Team Dynamics and Asura Reignite CK Summer Rivalry

Team Dynamics and Asura have qualified for the KeSPA Cup 2019 after their performance in the CK Summer season. The former won the regular season with a crushing 11-3 and have won both games against Asura. Overall, the head to head record is a convincing 4-0 for Team Dynamics who are expected to prevail at the Korea e-Sports Association Cup 2019. Unikrn only offers odds of 3/10 on the CK Summer season winners, while pricing a surprising victory for Asura at 5/2.
