Following the opening round of the Upper Bracket in the Quarterfinals, the Upper Bracket Semifinals involve some of the top teams at TI so far. Let’s take a look at each of the BO3 matches together with the TI12 odds.

It’s important to note that the odds for these matches are constantly changing – all of the following odds were provided by GG.Bet on 23rd October and are subject to change.

Team Spirit vs Team Liquid Prediction

Dota 2 The International Upper Bracket Odds & Predictions

Arguably one of the most thrilling matches so far at The International, Dota 2 TI betting sites have stacked the odds against Team Spirit and Team Liquid.

So far at the event, both teams have been stellar, replicating their performances ahead of the event from the entire season.

Starting with Team Spirit from EEU, the favourite ahead of the event after winning DreamLeague Season 21, they led Group A. Since then, they took down Shopify Rebellion and Virtus.pro to make it here.

Meanwhile, the WEU juggernauts of Team Liquid also topped their Group, Group B, and beat out Evil Geniuses and Talon Esports to earn their spot here.

Overall, esports odds are favouring Team Spirit at -501 due to their pure dominance at the tournament so far. Notably, their sweeping win against Virtus.pro lays claim to their dominance.

Notably, the outright odds of +321 for Team Liquid do have this being a one-sided match.

  • Prediction: Team Spirit (0-2) Team Liquid
  • Odds: Team Spirit Win (-501), Team Liquid Win (+321)
  • LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet

LGD Gaming vs Azure Ray Prediction

Dota 2 The International Upper Bracket Odds & Predictions

As we predicted in our TI standings, LGD Gaming have claimed a dark horse run at The International this year.

If you haven’t used your TI12 bonuses yet, the Chinese showdown between LGD Gaming and Azure Ray is definitely worth considering.

After dominating Group C in epic fashion, LGD Gaming sitting in the Upper Bracket Semifinal isn’t the most incredible surprise. Yet, the fact that they’re favoured with +106 outright odds is expected.

Similarly, what isn’t expected are their opponents.

Sure, they may have won the China TI Qualifier, but nobody expected Azure Ray to make it this far. Surviving Group B in third place, they may have been rewarded with easier match-ups against Entity and nouns.

However now, there’s nowhere to run. While they’ve looked promising, the outright odds of -141 favour them in this local showdown as they look to rise on top of China.

  • Prediction: LGD Gaming (1-2) Azure Ray
  • Odds: LGD Gaming Win (+106), Azure Ray Win (-141)
  • LoL Betting Site: GG.Bet
