The*gamehers, a gaming community platform for female and femme-presenting gamers, has announced the launch of its Pink Picks campaign, in collaboration with Thunderpick, a new initiative to highlight the members of the*gamehers community. This campaign will highlight a “gameher of the Week” who will appear in the*gamehers “Pink Pixels” weekly livestream. The new initiative was unveiled via release on March 15, and is part of the*gamehers and Thunderpick’s wider strategic partnership.

Launched in collaboration with Thunderpick, the Pink Picks gameher of the Week will have their accomplishments highlighted, but will also receive a swag bag from Thunderpick, filled with travel essentials, high-end tech goods, gaming accessories, and more. The aim of the award is to celebrate individual success but also build a broader sense of solidarity within the*gamehers community.

“We’re excited to continue our mission to elevate women in gaming through education, opportunities, and entrepreneurship through the Pink Pixels platform,” Allie Young, president of the*gamehers on the Pink Picks initiative.

However, Pink Picks is not the only part of a new collaboration between Thunderpick and the*gamehers. Instead, this partnership encompasses various efforts to promote the female gaming community, including the Thunderpick FemaLED Tournament, a female-led Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

A showcase of female and femme-presenting talent in-game and out, the Thunderpick FemaLED Tournament will feature a $5,000 prize pool, and will feature at a watch party at the Momocon convention in Atlanta, GA, on May 27. The winners will move on to compete in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 North American Qualifiers.

Thunderpick and the*gamehers new collaboration is reportedly just one in several important steps towards fostering inclusivity and equal opportunities in gaming. It’s part of a wider attempt to enable women to demonstrate their abilities and engage in competition at an international level.

The*gamehers is a community-centric platform dedicated to empowering women in the gaming industry, providing a safe and inclusive space for global gamers, creators, and professionals.

Thunderpick is a leading online gaming and betting platform, who stands behind and supports women in esports as they continue to break barriers and redefine the landscape of competitive gaming. Their strong commitment to responsible gaming has robust measures in place to ensure a safe and ethical gaming environment.
