Good As Gold! Unikrn Has Massive Success With Over 30 Million Unikoins Wagered In 6 Months

Unikrn has come a long way since its inception in 2014. The Seattle-based gaming, eSports, and entertainment company has established itself in the eSports industry as a highly innovative enterprise and is now proudly presenting a new milestone in its achievements.

Unikrn is – and has been – highly active in the eSports betting industry, introducing many novelties throughout the year, many of which have been an incredible success.

Some of those are Unikrn Vault, the mobile app that gives users an easier access to the company’s services, the Marketplace, an online platform where users can win awesome prizes, and probably the most famous of the all, Unikrn’s own virtual currency – the Unikoin.

What are Unikoins?

The Unikoin, a genius solution to the rising issue of online gambling’s legalization, is connected to the global wagering platform on the company’s website where players can bet on a variety of eSports games such as League of Legends, Dota 2 (more on betting on Dota 2), CS:GO, and others.

Providing the service to wager Unikoins on popular games has proven to be a huge success. After only six months after implementation, the company has seen over 30 million Unikoins being wagered on eSports from all over the globe.

Even though Unikoins cannot be exchanged for real money, they can be used for entering raffles where participants can win in-game prizes or computer accessories such as keyboards, headsets, gaming mice, and similar products. The largest raffle to date attracted a pot of over 300,000 Unikoins for a Logitech G633 headset.

New prizes are being added to the Marketplace every week.

Thinking about the wagered volume of the virtual currency and participation rate of players in raffles, it is great feedback for the company for the future, knowing that if online gambling eventually becomes legal everywhere, it can turn the virtual currency into real money and continue its successful service offering.

According to Rahul Sood, CEO and co-founder of Unikrn:

“With the introduction of Unikoins, our goal has always been to allow users from all over the world to safely bet on the outcomes of eSports matches and tournaments around the world.

We recognized very early on that Unikoins were a huge hit with our fans, and to date, on top of the total amount wagered, we’ve also seen over 4.3 million Unikoins having been placed in our raffles with over 1,000 prizes given away to date. These are some impressive numbers!”

Additional ways to earn Unikoins

Unikrn gives its users an easy way to earn Unikoins besides winning them while wagering. Answering trivia questions about games, entering promotional codes connected to ongoing tournaments and events, and allowing users to create their own trivia about games are just a few of those.

Recently, the company has introduced two new ways for players to earn Unikoins. Connekt, for example, is a fun, new way for users to acquire the virtual currency simply by playing three of today’s most popular games – League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Dota 2.

Another one is Auctions, which give users a way to spend their Unikoins for a chance to win a prize without risking losing their Unikoins – if they lose the auction, the Unikoins are returned. These auctions occur in short timeframes during which users can bid Unikoins on the auction and engage with other users via the Unikrn live chat function.
