Unikrn named best esports betting operator by EGR for the second year running

This is the second year in a row that Unikrn has been awarded Best Esports Operator of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards.
Their CEO, Rahul Sood, announced the news on his LinkedIn:
“Yesterday, we were recognized as EGR’s Esports Operator of the Year, making Unikrn the only company to earn back-to-back wins in this category.
“It hasn’t been easy in 2020. Competition is getting fiercer as esports grow, but we’re still leaving the rest in the dust. In 2021, we will expand globally through partner networks and B2B integrations. Thanks to the entire Unikrn team for making this possible with creativity, sweat and commitment.”
The EGR Operator Awards listed their reasoning for awarding Unikrn Best Esports Operator:
- The biggest and the best. They’re a destination for e-sports players to the point they’re now cross-selling back into sportsbook and casino
- Pioneers within the space, with a versatile platform
- Unikrn is showing rapid growth in turnover and is clearly investing heavily in its own technology which will support the need to innovate to thrive in this competitive market
- Good innovation and bespoke content. Established as a leader in the sector
The company began to win these awards last year after they started operating under a self-owned licence. It makes sense that the company would dominate the esports betting scene, they are the longest running esports betting operator and maintain a large market share of the US esports betting scene.
In fact, Unikrn has invested heavily in the technology and innovation needed to bring esports betting to a more wide stream audience. They offer services like their UMode, a service that allows players across the world to bet on their own ranked matches in some of the world’s most competitive titles, and their real-time updating odds for betting on Twitch streams.
These innovations also won the company another award in early 2020, the EGR Wagering Innovation of the Year.
