The International 10 countdown is almost over as we’re inching closer to the beginning of the long-awaited Dota 2 annual tournament. With less than 24h to go, everyone’s getting ready to jump into action and the excitement in the air is almost palpable.
Valve has finally revealed The International 10 groups along with all the matchups. Two groups with nine teams each will be playing a series of best-of-two round-robin matches starting from October 7th until October 10th. That leaves us with four days of action-packed Dota 2 before the main event.
The Group Stage

Eighteen teams will be fighting in the group stage to determine their initial placement in the main event. The top four teams from each group will head straight to the upper bracket, while the remaining teams will proceed into the lower bracket. The bottom team from each group will be eliminated.
Group A
- Alliance
- Evil Geniuses
- Invictus Gaming
- OG
- T1
- Team Aster
- Team Undying
- Thunder Predator
- Virtus.pro
Group B
- Elephant
- beastcoast
- Fnatic
- PSG.LGD
- Quincy Crew
- SG esports
- Team Secret
- Team Spirit
- Vici Gaming
These are the best Dota 2 teams in the world and we can expect a fierce battle. Making it out alive is the main priority at this stage, but securing a good upper bracket seed comes next. The groups seem quite balanced, but one of them will most certainly end up looking stronger by the end of the group stage.
Top Group Stage Picks

The rivalry between OG and Evil Geniuses continues and these two teams will finally have a chance to settle the score in group A. Both teams have a lot at stake – EG ranked first in the DPC 2021 season and they aim to continue the onslaught and take this year’s TI. Meanwhile, OG hopes to make history by winning The International for the third time in a row. Both of these teams are excellent picks if you’re looking for some Dota 2 TI betting in the group stage.
Speaking of OG, PSG.LGD have a bone to pick with them. They are arguably one of the stronger picks in group B and will have to wait until the main event to have a chance to get even with OG for preventing them from claiming the Aegis during The International 2018.
Team Secret is also one of those incredible teams you can never underestimate. They ended the season with some incredible stats and they have a stacked team. You can count on them finishing group B with flying colours.
Lastly, keep in mind that this is The International. Every team attending this event has the capacity to win and the motivation to persevere. Ultimately, you’ll have to rely on your own judgement as well as your prediction skills.
