VCT Pacific LCQ 2023: Outright Odds

Helping us preview and understand the stakes at hand are outright odds. As a simple VALORANT betting market, the lower the odds, the more likely a team is to win the entire event according to bookmakers.

Notably, only winning matters at this particular event.

Here’s a look at the GG.Bet outright odds for the VCT Pacific LCQ:

TeamGG.Bet Outright Odds
Team Secret3.0
Global Esports6.5
Rex Regum Qeon7.0

Format and Schedule

Taking place between 18th and 23rd July, the 7 franchised VCT Pacific teams not qualified for VCT Champions are competing at the Sangam Colosseum at South Korea.

Competing in Playoffs, a hybrid elimination format will decide the competition. Seeding based on Regular Season standings, has teams seeded as follows:

  • 6-7th – Talon Esports, DetonatioN FM – Round 1 (Single-Elimination)
  • 3-5th – Rex Regum, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports – Quarterfinals (Single-Elimination)
  • 1-2nd – ZETA DIVISION, Team Secret – Upper Bracket Semifinals

In this particular format, only the Upper Bracket Semifinals and onwards is double elimination. All matches are BO3, while the Lower Final and Grand Final are BO5 where the VALORANT odds are most interesting.

As a reminder, only one team, the winner, heads to VALORANT Champions.

In this betting preview, we’ll be looking at the two opening matches as scheduled below:

July 18th 2023 – Upper Bracket Round 1

  • Talon Esports vs DetonatioN FocusMe (10:00 CEST)

July 19th 2023 – Upper Bracket Quarterfinals

  • Rex Regum Qeon vs Global Esports (10:00 CEST)

Similar to the outright odds, we’ll be using GG.Bet to preview each of the opening matches.

VCT Pacific LCQ 2023 Predictions

Talon Esports vs DetonatioN FocusMe

VCT Pacific LCQ 2023 Betting Preview

As the 9th and 10th placed teams from the VCT Pacific Regular Season, both teams are unlikely to claim the highly coveted seed for VALORANT Champions 2023.

Yet, one team will walk away as the victor from this opening match up, and it seems that the esports odds favour Talon Esports heavily. Ranked higher and beating DetonatioN FocusMe 2-0 when they matched last, T1 is expected to come out on top here.

In addition, DetonatioN FocusMe faily to win a single series all season long does not help their case here.

  • Predictions: Talon Esports (2-0) DetonatioN FocusMe
  • Odds: Talon Esports Outright Win (1.17), DetonatioN FocusMe Outright Win (4.92)
  • Betting Site: GG.Bet

Rex Regum Qeon vs Global Esports

Meanwhile, this next match-up is a lot more contested. Although Rex Regum Qeon did sweep aside Global Esports at their last encounter, they are barely favoured in this esports betting match.

Holding onto one win over Global Esports, Rex Regum Qeon barely missed out on sixth place in the Regular Season.

However, we can’t count out Global Esports here, who managed to cause some upsets in the season, such as taking down Gen.G and also taking one map off of Paper Rex.

While any team could take this, RRG remains statistically favoured.

  • Predictions: RRG (2-1) Global Esports
  • Odds: Rex Regum Qeon Outright Win (1.88), Global Esports Outright Win (1.9)
  • Betting Site: GG.Bet
