The four first-round playoff games will be played over a best-of-three format, while the semifinals and final will be contested over best-of-five. Teams have the ability to earn prize pool money throughout the tournament including €500 if they win a match and €1,500 if they manage to finish top of their group in the opening phase.

The winner of the tournament pockets €15,000, with €7,000 for the runner up and €3,000 to the two teams that finish third/fourth.

The action will be streamed live from the HyperX Esports Studio in Hamburg in Germany on Twitch on Allied Esports dedicated channel.

In addition, other types of bets available on the game will be discussed by the telecasters during each of the shows.

“We’re thrilled to sponsor the inaugural CS:GO Legend Series which features an incredible roster of teams and has the potential to reach more than four million combined followers globally.” Stated VP of Marketing and Head of Esports at the Esports Entertainment Group.

The first games in the group stages are set to begin on Monday August 31.
