Virtus.pro Welcomes Mr.Cat As General Partner
Russian esports organization Virtus.pro has announced that Mr.Cat, a Southeast Asian esports tournament organizer and betting platform, will become its general partner. The two organizations have been collaborating since 2017 and are now solidifying their partnership for the future.

The new deal will see Mr.Cat’s logo displayed on the team’s jerseys, social media, and other media outlets. The two will also run promotional campaigns both online and offline.
“Mr.Cat proved their professionalism time and time again over the course of our more than two-year partnership,” commented Virtus.pro General Manager Roman Dvoryankin.
The first partnership between the two companies was announced back in 2017. It was an initiative looking to expand the Russian organization’s presence in the Asian market. With Mr.Cat’s aim to support the expansion of the competitive gaming scene in Asia, the partnership was the ideal push to include Virtus.pro in the growth.
The successful collaboration was confirmed last year when the partnership was extended for another 12 months. As one of the oldest esports organizations in Russia, Virtus.pro has successfully utilized the Mr.Cat partnership, growing its brand awareness in key markets. This has resulted in the organization becoming what it is today, an esports powerhouse.
Mr.Cat was founded in 2016 and has been organizing and running esports events across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. These include events like the Dota 2 Mr. Cat Invitational Europe and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Mr. Cat Masters Asian. Moreover, the company was involved with last year’s ESL One Genting and was among the sponsors for EPICENTER CS:GO 2018.
