Monte
- Monte have been sensational in the past month, just narrowly missing out on a playoff spot in Sydney, in favor of the tournament’s finalists in Complexity.
- The majority-Ukrainian roster managed to transfer their great form to online play, hence why they are one of the teams in the Roobet Cup Grand Final.
- Having played four BO3 matches in the event thus far, only once have Monte failed to clean sweep the series and get a 2-0 victory. During their Roobet Cup run, they have faced and defeated OG, NIP, Movistar Riders, and Aurora, with the last team causing them the most trouble.
- What’s interesting about Monte’s performances at the event, is that their two lowest-rated players in the past three months, kRaSnaL and br0, have been leading the way in the fragging department and been the main force pushing Monte over the line in this tournament.
- That comes as a surprise as back in this year’s summer break, the team lost their most promising and exciting talent in BOROS. Monte were touted to struggle following his departure, but it seems that right now they are better than ever.

According to CS2 odds, Virtus.pro are the favorites to take the trophy home, which makes sense, considering the high-level gameplay we know they are able to deliver. However, Monte are hot right now, and they will be eager to win their first CS2 trophy, while beating a CIS rival in the process.
