Vitality vs NAVI Match Preview

Vitality

The French organization is fresh off of their BLAST Fall Final victory, where they ended FaZe’s infamous 18-match CS2 win streak, while debuting with their new roster, featuring William “mezii” Merriman. The Brit wasn’t particularly impressive in Copenhagen, but the rest of his team got the job done.

Winning this event would cement Vitality as the best team of the year, having won multiple S-tier tournaments throughout 2023, including the BLAST Paris Major.

NAVI haven’t recorded a lot of official game time in CS2 so far, having played only six matches – three at IEM Sydney and three at the BLAST Fall Final. Despite that fact, they have shown some promise with their new Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev-less lineup in close losses against teams like FaZe, Complexity, and MOUZ.

The Ukrainian duo of Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov and Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy is NAVI’s main source of firepower. If they get off to a good start, the international roster has a chance to get a result against Vitality.

Vitality vs NAVI Odds & Prediction

Pinnacle Esports heavily favour Vitality to take down NAVI in their opening matchup and fight for a semi-final spot in the Upper Final. However, with the calibre of teams present at the tournament, there will be no easy games.
