Furia Academy vs Astralis Talent Prediction

Predictions: FURIA Academy to win

Odds: 2.08

Betting Site: Odds provided by GG.Bet

When: Tuesday, August 9, 15:00 CEST

This should be a fairly tight affair between two sides who don’t have a lot between them as far as rankings are concerned. Furia Academy are ranked 75th in the world, while Astralis Talent are ranked 78th. Astralis Talent go into this match as the favorites but there’s good reason to believe Furia Academy are worth wagering on. They have the better head to head record with three wins from four games and all the matches taking place within the space of the last three months.

Furia Academy also have a superior record on three of the maps and have beaten Astralis Talent on Vertigo, where they have an inferior record. Astralis Talent also head into this match on the back of a loss, whereas Furia Academy are on a two-game winning streak.

There’s a lot of momentum suggesting that Furia Academy are going to win this match but the big reason why Astralis Talent are heading into this match with as favorites is 21-year-old Fessor. He beats Furia Academy’s Kauez on almost all the stats in recent months.

Fessor has averaged 0.79 kills per round, 0.69 deaths per round, had a KAST of 70.8%, 1.31 impact and dealt average damage per round of 87.7. Kauez, on the hand, has averaged 0.78 kills per round, had a KAST of 70.5%, 1.26 impact and dealt average damage per round of 83.3.

This is a team game but the impact of one player can have a significant effect on the side. Having said that, the smart bet (if you’re talking about types of bets) would be on Furia Academy to get one over Astralis Talent. There’s more to win by betting them and they make a stronger case for the time being.

Spirit Academy vs OG Academy Prediction

Predictions: Spirit Academy to win

Odds: 1.51

Betting Site: Odds provided by GG.Bet

When: Tuesday, August 9, 18:00 CEST

Spirit Academy head into this match as very clear favorites despite having a rank of 86th compared to OG Academy’s 80th because OG Academy have been in awful form. The latter have only won one of their last six games. Spirit Academy, on the other hand, have won five of their last seven, including their last match.

Despite that, OG Academy will be aware that there isn’t a lot between the two sides. When they last faced each other in June, OG academy came out on top. In the two other encounters between the side, OG academy fell short once while the other game went into overtime. The head to head doesn’t reveal a clear favorite.

Their star players excel in different aspects. OG Academy’s Marix has dealt 85.1 damage per round in the last 3 months while also managing 0.79 kills per round. Spirit Academy’s ArtFrost, on the other hand, has managed to only average 0.58 deaths per round in the last three months.

It’ll be fascinating to watch the two players lock horns as they lead their sides. OG Academy faced Spirit Academy in Dust2 last time, which was a great advantage as they have an 83%-win record on that map but they’ll be well aware that Spirit Academy have a better win rate on four of the maps. Spirit Academy don’t have the best record on Nuke, however, with only 29% and OG academy haven’t played many matches here to make a data-based conclusion.

These sides clearly don’t have a lot between them but the fortunes of the two sides couldn’t be more different and that should definitely play a factor heading into this match. Spirit Academy are the favorites and their excellent recent form along with OG Academy’s disastrous form seems like the deciding factor. We’d recommend you place your esports wager on Spirit Academy.
