What’s New in WoW Burning Crusade Classic Phase 3
Whether you’re prepared or not, the phase 3 of the WoW Burning Crusade Classic arrives. The players will have the chance to challenge the Betrayer, Illidan Stormrage, who awaits atop the Black Temple, which is the new 25-man raid that will award the players with tier 6 sets and a whole host of new weapons and accessories.
And speaking of raids, prepare to embark to Tanaris and visit Caverns of Time where you’ll travel into the past to relive the epic fight against the legion commander Archimonde at the World Tree.
And if PvE is not your cup of tea, then make sure to sharpen your PvP skills as the arena season 3 draws near. Veteran players will have the chance to upgrade their gear with the shiny new season 3 equipment with higher stats and increased resilience. If you’re one of those players that quit back in phase 1 and you’re considering whether it’s worth returning – now’s the best time.
The Black Temple
This is one of the most iconic raids in World of Warcraft where players fight through hordes of enemies to challenge Illidan Stormrage who’s waiting at the top of the old Temple of Karabor.
Here you’ll find some of the best-looking tier sets and the most unique pair of legendary swords – Warglaives of Azzinoth. So if you’re a rogue or a warrior, we hope you already have a guild that’s willing to prioritize these to you as the competition for these blades will be through the roof. However, the ones lucky enough to receive both blades will experience the absolute peak of player power that Burning Crusade can offer.
The Black Temple also brings new epic jewelcrafting gems that will boost your stats even further. The demand for these gems will be huge in the first few weeks, so savvy gold makers will be able to make a ton of profit.
Battle for Mount Hyjal
This raid will be a real blast from the past. The players will be able to relive the original Warcraft 3 campaign story of the legion invading Azeroth and their commander Archimonde attempting to destroy the World Tree.
Both Horde and Alliance will fight their way through several waves of monsters and bosses in order to reach the peak and challenge Archimonde.
The raid also rewards tier 6 set pieces, just like Black Temple, so in order to complete your set you’ll have to regularly attend both raids weekly and hope your rolls are lucky.
When Will the New Raids Arrive?
Both Black Temple and Battle for Hyjal open on January 27th. This gives the players a bit more than a week to properly prepare.
Keep in mind that players will have to complete special attunements in order to access these raids. Also, you’ll be expected to have some decent gear so you don’t fall behind or slow down your raid, so better get farming right now!
Burning Crusade Classic Arena Season 3

An added reason to compete in season 3 is the new announcement that Blizzard recently made, where they revealed the Classic Arena Tournament that boasts a massive combined $100.000 prize pool! You’ll find more information in their official news post.
