Yang ‘Chalice’ Shenyi is the current offlaner for LGD Gaming.
‘Chalice’s career began in 2016 when he joined the team MAX.Y. This team achieved relatively poor results and mostly attended smaller events such as WESG 2016 China Finals. After participating in World Electronic Sports Games 2016, the team re-branded as Team MAX. Initially, the team saw little to no difference in their results. They failed to qualify for The International and The Kiev Major. However, towards the end of 2017, the team began to achieve good results including 5th/6th at ROG MASTERS 2017 and Dota2 Professional League Season 4 – Top. Following ROG MASTERS, ‘Chalice’ was invited to LGD Gaming, ahead of the Galaxy Battles II Qualifiers.
‘Chalice’ joined LGD Gaming at the end of 2017. In 2018, the team qualified for a number of events including ESL One Katowice and Dota 2 Asia Championships. The team placed 2nd at StarLadder i-League Invitational but disappointingly only placed 9th/12th at ESL One Katowice.
‘Chalice’ has not appeared at many international tournaments. However, in 2018 he placed 2nd at StarLadder i-league Invitational Season 4 with LGD Gaming against Team Liquid and later finished 9th/12th at ESL One Katowice.
