Andreas ‘Cr1t-‘ Franck Nielsen is the Danish support player for Evil Geniuses.

Early Career

‘Cr1t-‘s career began around 2012 when he joined the team We haz Asian as a mid player. This team did not last for long however, and at the end of the year, ‘Cr1t-‘ left the team and so began a period where he struggled to stay on one team for a long time. For the next almost 2 years, ‘Cr1t-‘ moved from team to team, staying no more than a few months at a time with each team. He played on a number of high profile teams however, including Mousesports and Meet Your Makers in addition to several Danish teams.

(monkey) Business

In the post-TI5 shuffle, ‘Cr1t-‘ was offered a spot on ‘N0tail’s team (monkey) Business. There was talk of ‘Cr1t-‘ potentially joining the Swedish team Alliance, but in the end he decided to join ‘N0tail’. (monkey) Business placed 3rd/4th at the MLG World Finals against Team Secret and managed to qualify for The Frankfurt major 2015. Following this, the team were signed by OG.

OG debuted with a 3rd place finish at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 6. Shortly thereafter, the team placed 1st at The Frankfurt Major against Team Secret. This was the first Valve sponsoreed Major, and ‘Cr1t-‘ helped OG to win it, beginning OG’s legacy as the winners of the most number of Majors. The next Major was The Shanghai Major, which remains the only one of 5 Majors which OG have not won. There, they placed 7th/8th. Following this, was The Manila Major and OG once again placed 1st, this time against Team Liquid. Unfortunately, OG achieved a disappointing result at The International 2016 despite being one of the favourite teams to win the event. After a 9th/12th place finish, ‘Cr1t-‘ would leave OG for Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses

‘Cr1t-‘ joined the team as their captain and support. Through ‘Cr1t-‘s captaining, EG achieved a 1st place finish at their debut tournament, the Mars Dota 2 League 2016. The 2016-2017 season was very successful for ‘Cr1t-‘. At the end of the year, ‘Cr1t-‘ along with his ex-teammate ‘Fly’ were awarded the strongest support duo award by GosuGamers. Evil Geniuses also placed 3rd/4th at the two Valve Majors, The Boston Major and The Kiev Major. In addition, they achieved some great top 3 finishes at a number of other events. They had most recently placed 2nd at EPICENTER 2017 and 5th/6th at the Mars Dota 2 League 2017 when they entered The Internatinoal 2017. The team disappoingly placed 9th/12th, but ‘Cr1t-‘ stayed with the team.
In the 2017-2018 season, ‘Cr1t-‘s responsibility as captained was transferred to ‘MISERY’. Evil Geniuses continued to get good results prior to and after the changes. They placed 3rd at DreamLeague Season 8 and finished 3rd/4th at ESL One Genting 2018.

International Tournaments

‘Cr1t-‘ helped OG to achieve first place finishes at The Frankfurt Major 2015 and at The Manila Major 2016. With Evil Geniuses, ‘Cr1t-‘ achieved 3rd/4th place finishes at The Boston Major 2016 and at The Kiev Major 2017. ‘Cr1t-‘ has attended The International twice, and unfortunately placed 9th/12th both times around.
