Lava Domestic Career

Kim “Lava” Tae-hoon began his LoL career in 2016 as a substitute for SKT T1. Unfortuantely, he was subbing for the best mid laner in the world—Faker—so he spent the entire year sitting on the bench. Shortly thereafter, he left the organization and took a break for competitive play.

He returned for the 2017 LCK Summer Split as ROX Tigers’ mid laner. However, Tigers had a very rocky showing in the regular season, and their 6-12 record wasn’t enough to break into the playoffs. They tried to turn around their bad luck at the 2017 LoL KeSPA Cup. Their victory against Gyeonggi showed a glimmer hope, but the following series against Ever8 Winners ended with a 1-2 loss.

Lava International Tournaments

Over the course of his career, Lava didn’t attend any international tournaments.
