Memento Domestic Career
Memento began his LoL career on CooLife Gaming. However, he didn’t have any notable showings until he joined Team Empire. There, he took part in the 2016 LCL Spring Split. Empire performed well in the regular season, finishing second with a 10-4 record. The playoffs had them take down Na’Vi in a close 5-game Semifinals only to fall prey to Hard Random in the finals.
In the off-season, Memento left the team to join Low Priority in the 2016 EU CS Summer Qualifiers. His team had a decent showing in the group stage, but unfortunately, Low Priority couldn’t make it into the playoffs after losing to SK Gaming. Memento then went to Nerv to participate in the 2016 EU CS Summer Split. But Nerv couldn’t get anything going and finished the regular season in last place.
Even so, Memento caught the eye of Team ROCCAT, and they signed him as a replacement for Airwaks in the middle of the 2016 EU LCS Summer Split. But the up-and-coming jungler couldn’t turn ROCCAT’s bad luck around. They were knocked down to the Promotion Tournament where they defeated Millenium and Schalke 04 to keep their EU LCS spot.
After such a disappointing showing, Memento went back to Nerv. With his help, Nerv had a good run in the 2017 EU CS Spring Qualifiers. At least, in the group stage. But the playoffs had them suffer a crushing defeat at the hand of Team Kinguin.
Memento had another chance to shine when Giants Gaming brought him into the 2017 EU LCS Spring Split. But once again, his team struggled to stand up to the competition. With a 2-11 record, Giants finished their group dead-last and found themselves playing in the Promotion Tournament. A quick 1-3 defeat against Fnatic Academy pushed them into the loser’s bracket. And while Giants managed to bounce back with a win over Origen, another loss to Fnatic Academy sealed their fate. They were eliminated from the EU LCS.
Memento finally found success playing for Schalke 04 in the 2017 EU CS Summer Split. Together with his teammates, he took over the competition and went all the way to the Promotion Tournament. There, Schalke defeated Mysterious Monkeys and Ninjas in Pyjamas to qualify for the 2018 EU LCS season.
When Schalke 04 overhauled their roster, Memento joined Team ROCCAT.
Memento International Tournaments
Over the course of his career, Memento didn’t attend any international tournaments.
