Teddy Domestic Career

Park “Teddy” Jin-seong began his LoL career on Ever8 Winners. Together with his teammates, he took part in the 2016 CK Summer Split. Ever8 Winners had a decent showing in the regular season and qualified for the playoffs with a 4-3 record. There, they defeated I Gaming Star before falling prey to Kongdoo Monster. In the third-place match, they picked up the slack to score a narrow 3-2 victory over Rising Star Gaming.

In the off-season, Teddy’s mechanical prowess was recognized by Jin Air Green Wings, and he received an offer to join them. His first performance on the new team happened at the 2016 LoL KeSPA Cup. Jin Air kicked off the tournament with an impressive 2-1 victory over Longzhu Gaming, but their next series against ROX Tigers ended in defeat.

Still, they entered the 2017 LCK Spring Split with high hopes. Unfortunately, Jin Air struggled to stand up to the competition, and their 4-14 record amounted to a ninth-place finish. With that, they were forced to play in the 2017 LCK Summer Promotion. There, Jin Air regained their composure and crushed Ever8 Winners and Kongdoo Monster to hold on to their LCK slot.

Jin Air showed up during the 2017 LCK Summer Split. And while their performance wasn’t exactly top-tier, they managed to secure an 8-10 record to avoid relegation. Then, they went to the 2017 LoL KeSPA Cup. At first, it seemed like they were about to have their breakthrough, but a 1-2 Quarterfinals loss to Longzhu Gaming put an end to this narrative.

During this time, Teddy made a name for himself as one of the best AD carries in the league. And even when his team wasn’t playing well, he routinely took over teamfights with his crisp mechanics and sharp game sense.
