Lin ‘Xxs’ Jing is the current mid player for Invictus Gaming.

Career

Early Career

‘Xxs’s career began when he joined Team DK following The International 2015. The team was not successful however, as they failed to qualify for any event. For instance, they only made it through the first part of The Frankfurt Major Qualifiers before getting knocked out. He joined the Scuderia division and when Team DK would disband only 2 months later, his full squad was picked up by IG Vitality. IG Vitality was the secondary Invictus Gaming team which was comprised of rising talent. The team showed promise as they achieved some decent results such as 4th at Dota 2 Radiant & Dire Cup 2015 against other top Chinese teams and 1st at Shanghai Dota 2 Open Qualifier. At the beginning of 2016, ‘Xxs’ was moved over to Invictus Gaming’s main squad.

Invictus Gaming

For most of 2016, Invictus Gaming achieved mediocre results. There were some exceptions to this however, most notably 1st at National Electronic Arena 2016 and 4th at Dota2 Professional League Season 2- Top. At these events, IG rivaled the skill of the best Chinese teams. Unfortunately, 2016 was riddled with several poor results such as 5th at The International 2016 Qualifier and 5th/10th at The Boston Major.

On the other hand, the first half of 2017 was a much more successful year for IG. They consistently placed highly at events and achieved many impressive results. They won the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 and came 3rd/4th at The Kiev Major and were serious contenders for the Aegis of Champions. At The International 2017, IG placed 5th/6th. Unfortunately, the team’s performance took a significant drop when ‘BurNIng’ went inactive. Since then, the team has had very little success and failed to qualify for most events.

International tournaments

‘Xxs’ has achieved some great results at international events. Among these include 5th/6th at The International 2017, 3rd/4th at The Kiev Major 2017 and 1st at Dota 2 Asia Championships. He has achieved all of these results as well as several others with Invictus Gaming. Consequently, he he has spent almost all of his professional career playing for them.
