ASUS ROG Strikes Two Year Partnership with DRX Esports

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), the renowned gaming hardware brand, has revealed a two year collaboration with South Korean esports powerhouse DRX.

Under the agreement, ROG will outfit DRX’s competitive squads in VALORANT and League of Legends with gear from its specialised Ace Esports product range.

Announced on January 26, the partnership extends beyond sponsorship. DRX players will test upcoming ROG products and offer direct input to tailor them for elite level esports performance.

The two organizations will also co-create content, giving fans a behind the scenes look at how pros fine tune their setups for major tournaments.

“Esports is where performance truly matters, where every click, every flick, and every decision can define the outcome,” stated Kris Huang, General Manager of ASUS’s Gaming and Workspace business unit. “Partnering with DRX allows us to work directly with world class players across multiple titles, gaining invaluable feedback that helps us refine the ROG Ace Esports product lineup.”

ROG’s Growing Esports Footprint

ASUS ROG has been aggressively expanding in esports over the last year, forging alliances with top teams and events like Team Vitality, NRG, and BLAST in 2025.

This DRX deal marks another strategic move to solidify ROG’s position in the competitive gaming ecosystem.

DRX’s 2026 Campaign

For DRX, the ROG partnership bolsters its roster of sponsors. Just weeks ago, on January 6, the org teamed up with Jalbonun St. Mary’s Eye Clinic to prioritize player health.

On the competitive front, DRX’s VALORANT team is in the VCT Pacific Kickoff, having lost their opener to FULL SENSE and gearing up for a January 30 clash with VARREL.

Meanwhile, the League of Legends squad is off to a rocky start in the LCK Cup, languishing at the bottom of Group Elder with a 1-3 record after two weeks.
