Twitch Greenlights CS2 StarLadder Budapest Major Amid Rollbit Sponsor Drama

Twitch has quelled community fears by confirming that the StarLadder Budapest CS2 Major 2025, sponsored by the banned gambling site Rollbit, complies with its policies, paving the way for official broadcasts and authorised co-streams.

In a statement to Dexerto on November 19, Twitch emphasised that while Rollbit remains prohibited for direct promotion, “physical branding” like jersey logos or arena signs is permitted during streams.

StarLadder’s November 15 reveal of Rollbit as official betting partner ignited panic. Creators like ohnePixel fretted over ban risks, while JakeSucky warned of Twitch/YouTube co stream blackouts, pushing exclusivity to Kick. Swift clarification quelled fears, preserving Twitch’s viewership dominance for CS2’s pinnacle event.
