T1 Locks in Oner Through 2028 with Major Extension

T1 has extended jungler Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun’s contract by two years, securing the Worlds threepeat hero until the end of 2028. The news, dropped on his birthday, adds stability to T1’s core after recent departures.

Lifelong T1 Loyalty

Oner, a T1 academy graduate, debuted on the LCK roster in December 2020 alongside Keria and Zeus, forming the legendary ZOFGK lineup with Faker and Gumayusi. That squad dominated, clinching a historic threepeat at Worlds, including 2025 while Oner scooped Jungle of the Year at the LCK Awards for four straight seasons.

Despite Zeus’s 2024 exit and Gumayusi’s 2025 move to HLE, T1’s rebuilt botlane clicked early, rookie ADC Peyz earned KeSPA Cup MVP, leading T1 to victory over HLE in the final.

Official Word and Fan Hype

T1 celebrated: “‘Oner’ has extended his contract with T1 until 2028! As he continues to shape T1โ€™s history, we look forward to building an even brighter legacy together.”

Oner revealed the deal was inked in early December: “Iโ€™ll be with all of you until 2028. I also ask for your support over the next three years.”

Fans erupted, dubbing it an “early Christmas gift” amid roster flux.

Dynasty Reloaded?

With Faker, Keria, and Oner locked in, nearing Faker’s 2029 deal. T1 eyes reclaiming LCK and MSI crowns from Gen.G and HLE, building on Worlds glory under “Earn Your Legacy.”
