Riot Games Reveals VCT China 2026 Host Cities for Ambitious Season Tour

Riot Games has unveiled the host cities for the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) China, marking its most extensive regional tour yet. Announced on December 23, 2025, the season long roadshow will span multiple Chinese cities for regional events, culminating in Shanghai for VALORANT Champions 2026.

The VCT China season kicks off with the Kickoff tournament in Guangzhou from January 22 to February 9, featuring a new triple-elimination format with 12 teams, including top squads like Bilibili Gaming and EDward Gaming.

Shanghai will host the season finale with VALORANT Champions from September 24 to October 18, crowning the world champion. An additional city will host the VALORANT Radiant Invitational.

Fan Engagement and Community Activities

This multi city tour, described by Riot as its “most ambitious” VCT initiative, builds on the success of previous Chinese events like Masters Shanghai 2024. Beyond competitive matches, the roadshow will feature fan fests, VIP galas, city takeovers, and community activities such as cosplay showcases and VALORANT Mobile experiences, transforming each city into a vibrant esports hub.

Stage 2 playoffs across all VCT regions, including China, will also be live destination events, enhancing fan engagement.
