ALGS Year 5 Championship Reveals Partners Including Red Bull, Razer, Google Play

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) has announced a robust lineup of 12 partners for its Year 5 Championship, mixing global tech giants with local Japanese brands to elevate the season finale.

Returning heavyweights Sony INZONE serve as Official Monitor & Headset partner, equipping all competition areas with INZONE M10S monitors and bespoke H9 II headsets paired with E9 in-ears for players. Red Bull returns as Official Energy partner, anchoring activations with a photo booth, bar, and interactive zones.

Debuting partners include Google Play, offering exclusive rewards for VIP members and giveaways at its booth, while Razer steps in as Official Chair partner, providing Iskur V2 NewGen chairs across the main stage, freeplay areas, and FanZone complete with demos and ambassador meet and greets. GALLERIA supplies high spec Official PCs for pros and a 60-player FanZone setup; AndGAMER (with Void Gaming controllers) powers freeplay hardware.

Local Japanese Ties and Fan Activations

Japanese collaborators amplify cultural immersion, The City of Sapporo hosts citywide takeovers, Hokkaido Electric Power Company delivers 100% renewable energy, including hydrogen powered gameplay; BEAMS drops limited sukajan style merch (hoodies, hats, bags) exclusive to the venue, plus temporary tattoos.

RAGE handles localized production, NTT East provides fiber connectivity, and Macaron et Chocolat offers themed gift boxes of mini macarons.

A new Hokkaido Pavilion spotlights these booths, alongside record team setups from Fnatic, Gen.G, Alliance, Team Liquid, 100 Thieves (teaming with Crazy Raccoon), and Virtus.pro for meet and greets.

Sapporo Championship Kicks Off Tomorrow

The event unfolds January 15-18, 2026, at Daiwa House PREMIST DOME in Sapporo, Japan, crowning Year 5 champions among 40 teams. “The ALGS Year 5 Championship is a huge collaboration, providing opportunities to local businesses and gaming’s biggest brands,” said EA’s Monica Dinsmore.
