Ancient Callouts in CS2: Our Full Guide

Learning callouts in CS2 can be a long process, but if you’re someone who plays the game regularly, it’s a necessary one. Released back in 2020, Ancient is one of the newer maps in the Counter-Strike map pool, meaning all of its callouts haven’t had as long to be cemented compared to the likes of Mirage and Dust 2.

Our Ancient CS2 callouts guide will tell you everything you need to know about communicating correctly on the map.

There’s nothing worse than not knowing your callouts for an area, and having to shout, “Over there!” instead. Your teammates won’t be happy, and neither will you, especially if you’re in a key round.

If you’re in low ranks, you might find that your teammates don’t quite know all these callouts, but you should use them regardless. If you want to rank up fast in Premier Mode, you can get a huge edge over your opposition by knowing these Ancient callouts in CS2.

We’ve created a map below that shows you all the callouts you need to know on Ancient. Of all the CS2 Active Duty maps, Ancient is probably the one you’ll play the least (unless you’re at a high level), so it will take longer to learn these by simply playing the game.

It’s important to remember that while these callouts are correct, the CS2 community frequently develops new spot names. Remember to keep up with the Counter-Strike 2 patch schedule so if any changes are made, you’ll be the first to know. The good news is that compared to other maps, there are actually fewer callouts to learn. And once you have them down, you should be well on the way to getting better at CS2.

At this point, it’s unlikely they’ll change much on Ancient, but we could see a few adjustments with any rework to the map.
