Falcons in the Front……Again
Let’s remind everyone that Team Falcons is leading the EWC Club Championship standings after winning the EWC Warzone and Free Fire Tournaments. Their strategy has been rather simple for the most part, buying out promising rosters ahead of the EWC and their Apex Legends team is no exception.
Signing the former DarkZero Esports roster, this roster won the ALGS North America Pro League Stage 1 and placed second at the Split 1 Playoffs. Accordingly, the esports odds and the community favour Team Falcons as one of the top teams.
REJECT & Crazy Raccoon try out their player swaps
At the last international event, REJECT Winnity walked away as champions of the ALGS 2024 Split 1 Playoffs. While they would technically be the favourites at EWC, roster changes have made things rather interesting for esports betting.
Accordingly, the two APAC rosters of REJECT and Crazy Raccoon have swapped the majority of their rosters. Specifically, in early July, two players from REJECT were swapped with two players from Crazy Raccoon and vice versa.
From this swap, it seems REJECT is more favoured in winning over Crazy Raccoon, though neither team has had much practice.
TSM are North America’s Hope
Last season, TSM dominated the community at every international tournament, walking away with the crown from the ALGS 2023 Championship.
For 2024, the roster stuck together with a mixed bag of results ending the ALGS Pro League Split 1 at third place. This lack of certainty resulted in their failure at the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs, finishing 17th.
Following this result, one quick roster change saw them bounce back and finish second at the ALGS Split 2 Pro League NA.
