Esports World Cup Foundation Opens 2026 Club Partner Program Applications
The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has launched applications for its 2026 Club Partner Program, committing $20 million to support 40 top esports organisations worldwide.
Announced on November 18, 2025, the program builds on the success of prior years, aiming to fuel sustainable growth, expand fan bases in high potential regions such as India, China, Southeast Asia, and LATAM, and elevate the global esports ecosystem.
“Following the success of the 2025 Club Partner Program, which saw record engagement from Clubs and fans worldwide, the 2026 EWCF Club Partner Program enters its next phase as EWCF’s flagship investment into Clubs and the wider esports ecosystem. Building on its continuous efforts since 2023, the Foundation reaffirms its long term commitment to a sustainable, connected, and truly global esports ecosystem.”

Direct Invites for Elite Orgs
Eight powerhouse teams have secured automatic spots based on their dominance:
- Team Falcons (two-time Esports World Cup champions)
- Team Liquid
- Team Vitality
- Twisted Minds
- Virtus.pro
- All Gamers
- Gen.G
- Weibo Gaming
The remaining 32 slots are open to ambitious organizations via a competitive application process.
What’s on Offer? Benefits and Eligibility
Selected clubs will access funding up to $1 million per top org, which contributes to content creation, fan engagement, and brand expansion leading into Esports World Cup 2026 (July 6–August 23 in Riyadh).
Eligibility criteria include:
- Proven track record of strong performances across multiple esports titles
- Robust long term strategies
- Demonstrated fan growth potential via social media and initiatives
