YEKINDAR powers FURIA past MIBR into consolidation final
FURIA beat MIBR 2-0 in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 lower bracket, taking Mirage 13-8 and Nuke 13-11 in a South American derby rematch of Thursday’s opening-round clash, and the result sets up another crack at Vitality after Friday’s blowout loss to the French side.
Mirage and Nuke decide the South American derby
MIBR switched to Mirage after opening with Inferno in Thursday’s meeting, and Linus ‘LNZ’ Holtäng’s side made the change count early, storming to a 5-0 lead before FURIA settled into their defense and took control of the rest of the half. MIBR clawed back through a pistol round built on kills from Lucas ‘nqz’ Soares and Carlos ‘venomzera’ Eduardo, but the reprieve was brief.
FURIA answered with a 6-0 run led by Mareks ‘YEKINDAR’ Gaļinskis to close out the map. Nuke opened in FURIA’s favor courtesy of a 1v2 clutch from Yuri ‘yuurih’ Santos, only for venomzera to fire back with three Five-SeveN kills and MIBR to lock down their defense, conceding just three rounds across the rest of the half.
FURIA’s own defense wobbled around ramps and the lower site as MIBR pushed to force overtime, but Kaike ‘KSCERATO’ Cerato closed it out with a 4K in the final round of regulation.
YEKINDAR and KSCERATO lead FURIA
YEKINDAR topped the box score across both maps with a 40-32 kill differential, 88.8 ADR and a 1.35 Rating 3.0, driving the decisive Mirage run that pulled FURIA clear of MIBR’s early lead. KSCERATO wasn’t far behind statistically at 39-25 with 98.9 ADR and a 1.28 rating, and he supplied the moment that mattered most – the final-round 4K that shut the door on Nuke.

The win sends FURIA into the consolidation final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, where they’ll face Vitality at 08:00 on September 20, according to the tournament schedule. It’s a chance for Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo’s side to answer Friday’s loss to Vitality in a series that carries added weight – the winner advances directly into a best-of-five grand final against Aurora, while the loser’s run ends there.
MIBR, meanwhile, are eliminated after falling short in both meetings with their Brazilian rivals across the event. For FURIA, the path back to the final now runs through the same opponent that beat them two days earlier, with no margin left for another slow start.
