G2 Esports Disbands G2 Hel After Three Years of Dominance
European powerhouse G2 Esports has officially shut down G2 Hel, its pioneering women’s League of Legends team, ending a three-year project just two weeks after their latest tournament victory.

Final Roster and Staff
Launched in late 2022 as one of the first teams in League of Legends Game Changers Rising, G2 Hel revamped its lineup in January 2025 with additions like Rym “rym” Salloum and Zeniv, leading to instant success.
The final 2025 roster featured:
- Zeniv (Top)
- Marta “Shiina” Mesas Garrido (Jungle)
- Rym “rym” Salloum (Mid)
- Maya “Caltys” Henckel (ADC)
- Ève “Colomblbl” Monvoisin (Support)
- Adam “Emtest” Emtestam (Head Coach)
Historic Achievements
G2 Hel captured eight tournament titles, including Storm Takeover, Coupe des Etoiles, Nova Series, TRIFORC3 TOURNAMENT, and the 2025 Equal Esports Cup. They made history in May by becoming the first all female team promoted to Liga Nexo, Europe’s Regional League second division, and reached runners up in the inaugural League of Legends Game Changers 2025 Rising.
