Gen.G Locks In World Series Of Warzone Champ Lenun for 2026

Big announcement in Warzone world, Gen.G has added to their team by welcoming Lenun, who absolutely crushed World Series of Warzone Global Final 2025. Recently a free agent, UK slayer is climbing aboard for the  26 season as Gen.G’s second Brit on their battle royale team. If you’re gambling on them climbing the standings following a rough introduction, this feels like the spark they need.

Lenun is no stranger to the spotlight. Along with UK friends ‘Echo’ and Ethan ‘Fifakill’ Pink, he pulled through under the Team Vision banner to grab that WSOW trophy, with the Warzone esports year closed. Not bad for a team that also placed sixth at the Esports World Cup 2025 and third in the Toronto Ultra Hot Drop earlier in the season.

Gen.G’s Warzone Glow Up

Gen.G dipped their toes into Warzone back in September by scooping up the former All Gamers crew,  Rhys ‘Rated’ Price, ‘Natedogg’, and Callum ‘ScummN’ Taylor. Their first big swing? 20th place at the WSOW Global Final. Now, with Lenun stepping in the team’s got itself some fresh energy to pursue majors and majors.

This signing is all about collecting talent for the long term. Gen.G has been everywhere in 2025, adding a seven player team in May to its Marvel Rivals franchise and partnering with 13 U.S. universities for a three week esports deep dive in South Korea last month. Warzone is just another playground for their global empire building.

Lenun’s Take: Hype is Real

The man himself Lenun said on X: “Super grateful for the opportunity and I’m excited to get started with the boys.” Classic post signing vibes gratitude mixed with that fire to frag. You can feel the squad chemistry brewing already.
