How to 1v1 in CS2 – All methods for you to flex on your opponents
In CS2, a 1v1 is the ultimate test of skills. Just you and another player, and the first to kill the other emerges as the champion. Wondering how to 1v1 in CS2? We’ve got you covered with multiple ways to play this popular game type as, unfortunately, it isn’t something Valve has included in the base game as standard.
How to 1v1 friends in CS2
One of the most common ways to play this mode in CS2 is to play against friends. It’s a helpful way to warm up before a full match and earn some bragging rights.
To 1v1 friends in CS2, you’ll need to download a Workshop map that supports this. We recommend something like AWP Lego 2 – a classic from years gone by.
Then invite your CS2 party and launch the Workshop map. They may be prompted to download it. As long as they say yes, you’ll be good to go.
If the game spawns you with bots, use the command “bot_kick” in the CS2 console to make the match between you and your friend.
You won’t be participating in any 1v1 CS2 betting in these matches, but you’ll still have a ton of fun.
1v1 on third party CS2 servers
If you want to know how to play this mode with random players online, you can always use third-party services instead. You might have to wait a bit of time but it’s worth it for the practice.
The most prominent site for 1v1s in CS2 is Cybershoke, where players can participate in Arena Duels across various maps.
We think playing these is a great way to get better at CS2. You’re going to meet some real aim stars in these 1v1 lobbies, so figuring out how to beat them consistently will help you when it comes to your aim in 5v5 CS2 matches.
