Movistar KOI Locks in 2026 LEC Roster: No Changes from 2025 Lineup

Movistar KOI’s League of Legends squad is set for continuity, with co owner Ibai Llanos and Sergio “SergioFFerra” Salcedo confirming during a November 11 Twitch talkshow that the whole 2025 roster Myrwn, Elyoya, Jojopyun, Supa, and Alvaro will stick around for the 2026 LEC season.

The announcement underscores the organisation’s faith in its current core, bolstered by existing contracts that run through next year. KOI is pushing forward with extension talks for key talents, including head coach Tomás “Melzhet” Campelos, midlaner Javier “Elyoya” Prades, ADC Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun, and support Álvaro “Alvaro” Fernández del Amo, targeting deals that stretch past 2027. Jojopyun, in particular, raved about his European adventure, signaling strong buy in.

Support pair David “Supa” Garcia and Alex “Myrwn” Villarejo are also not necessarily next in line to resign but receive the organisation’s backing. With these two, they like the plan and could return to deal later in 2026 based on performance and attitude.

Building Depth: Staff Boosts and Academy Overhaul

To turbocharge operations, KOI will hire two new staffers next year providing more support for players. The academy push comes to bear here, as Melzhet spins two prospects around the LEC and lower, much as it looked last summer.

Following in the footsteps of Karmine Corp from France, KOI is building a Movistar KOI Fénix squad in Spain’s Superliga and plundering tier 3 scenes. The goal? Discover hidden gems raw, under the radar Spanish talent who could sky rocket to stardom in the LEC within two years. This double pronged approach will also create healthy competition, keeping the main roster on its toes as it prepares to unleash the next wave.
