Paper Rex’s New Roster Wins Radiant International Invitational

Paper Rex (PRX) has launched its revamped lineup with a bang, clinching back to back titles at the Radiant International Invitational (RII) in China. The Southeast Asian powerhouse defeated GenG 3-1 in the grand final, marking a strong debut for newcomer Adrian “invy” Reye.

Stage at VCT China

Hosted as a compact LAN showcase, the RII brought together elite Valorant squads like PRX, GenG, and G2 Esports. It offered an early glimpse of updated VCT rosters ahead of the 2026 season, with Pacific teams asserting dominance over the field.

PRX integrated invy, formerly of Team Secret, to replace breakout star Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, the rookie behind their VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 triumph. Meanwhile, GenG reunited with Kim “Lakia” Jong-min and debuted 18 year old Kim “ZynX” Dong-ha from DRX Academy, who led the event with a stellar 215 ACS average.

The Pacific showdown grand final flipped history. GenG, undefeated against PRX in six prior series, led to a 13-5 win on Abyss. Veteran Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee flipped the script, top fragging the next three maps to seal the 3-1 victory.
