Arriving as part of the v4.2 update under the Season Ascension initiative, these features launch on January 11, 2026, coinciding with Season 28.
Designed for veteran players, they provide long term goals, evolving rewards, and fresh challenges across classic mode, ultimate royale, and trial challenges.
This follows KRAFTON’s recent esports push, including Alpha7 Esports PMGC 2025 victory and an upgraded 2026 roadmap featuring two global opens, the PUBG Mobile World Cup, and the global championship.
Season Series: Six Month Grind
Spanning six months with three regular seasons, the Season Series awards an evolving in game medal based on performance. Grind matches to unlock premium cosmetics:
