RLCS Partners with Epic Games Store for 2026 Season Collaboration

The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) has forged a strategic alliance with the Epic Games Store, as an official partner for the 2026 season. This partnership, revealed on November 21, 2025, positions the digital storefront as a key supporter of the esports circuit, enhancing visibility and integration within the Rocket League community.

As one of the inaugural partners unveiled for the upcoming year, the Epic Games Store collaboration underscores RLCS’s ongoing efforts to combine gaming ecosystems with competitive play.

A Decade of RLCS

Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2026 since launching in 2016, RLCS has evolved into a cornerstone of esports, drawing elite organizations such as Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and NRG. The league’s history is marked by innovative partnerships across diverse sectors, extending beyond gaming to enhance the fan experience.

A notable recent tie up came in April 2025 with trophy designer Thomas Lyte, tasked with creating bespoke awards for tournament victors. These collaborations highlight RLCS’s appeal to both endemic and non endemic brands, creating growth in a maturing ecosystem.

2026 Season Kicks Off

The 2026 campaign builds momentum with the first online Open tournaments feeding into Major 1, which commenced on November 14, 2025. Regional Swiss stages showcased top performers, Team Vitality and Karmine Corp dominated in Europe, Spacestation Gaming and Gen.G led North America, while Changuitos FC and Novadrift excelled in South America.

The top eight teams from each group advanced to the Group Stage, where 16 squads vie for eight Playoff spots, setting the stage for elite level competition.

Rocket League’s Packed 2026 Calendar

Hot on the heels of NRG’s triumphant 2025 World Championship win, the season begins with the Kick Off LAN event in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December 5th to 7th. Eight invited teams will battle for bragging rights and a slice of the prize pool.

Subsequent Majors anchor the calendar, where the first unfolds in North America in February, followed by a marquee event at Paris’s La Défense Arena in May. This revamped schedule guarantees earlier offline action and intense global rivalries, amplifying the partnership’s impact through Epic Games Store integrations.
