HLTV stats highlight the most played maps across Swiss stages and playoffs. Dust II topped the charts, while Ancient and Overpass lagged behind.

In playoffs and Stage 3, pick/ban trends solidified: Dust II saw 15 plays and just 22 bans, Inferno 13 plays/25 bans, while Train (6/34) and Overpass (6/32) were ban magnets.

Dust II: The Unstoppable Classic

Dust II emerged as the most played map, embodying CS’s timeless appeal despite community calls for rotation. Vitality’s dominant grand final performance on it recovering from a Nuke loss proved vital in their championship run.

Mirage and Inferno

Mirage (30 plays) earned praise for perfect balance, featuring Vitality’s epic three OT semifinal win over Spirit.

Inferno (28 plays) delivered clutch moments, like FalleN’s legendary 1v3 defuse for FURIA against NAVI.Side, balance favored CT on Mirage (57%) and Inferno (53%), but aggressive plays showed.

Ancient and Overpass

Least played at 18 and 14 times, these maps risk Active Duty rotation post.

Overpass appeared once in playoffs (Vitality’s GF Map 4 stomp), Ancient similarly spars.
