MOUZ looked in trouble after dropping Mirage 11-13 to Team Falcons, who staged an impressive second half fightback from 4-8 down. However, the European squad regrouped, they dominated Inferno 13-6 and closed out the series on Nuke with a hard-fought 13-10 win after leading 8-4 at halftime.

Vitality Edge Past NAVI in Two Nail-Biters

Team Vitality sent Natus Vincere to the brink of elimination with back to back 13-11 victories. On their pick Inferno, Vitality held a slim 7-5 halftime lead and fended off NAVI’s executes to take Map 1. Train was tied 6-6 at the break, but a flawless T-side from Vitality sealed the sweep and their playoff berth.

The MongolZ Crush G2’s Hopes

The MongolZ delivered the most one sided result of the day, dismantling G2 Esports 2-0. On G2’s pick Ancient, MongolZ stormed to a 9-3 T-side and closed it 13-4. Dust II followed the same script, with G2 managing only five rounds on their T-side before falling 6-13.
