This comes after a chaotic 2025, marked by multiple benchings, controversial decisions, and the full roster being listed for transfer in November.
The org benched stars like Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and Love “phzy” Smidebrant before reinstating them, only to dismantle everything erasing prior successes like back to back Majors in Shanghai and Austin.
The New Lineup
Led by coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay, this five man squad aims to grind VRS points through ranked events and qualifiers.
Ethan “reck” Serrano (22, USA) joins as an entry fragger and rifler after a four month bench stint at M80, where he featured at the BLAST.tv Austin Major (top 22 finish).
Anthony “CLASIA” Kearney (23, USA) brings versatile rifling as a NA journeyman, with stints at Nouns, Strife, EG Black, Gaimin Gladiators, SkinRave, and BLUEJAYS over seven years.
Simon “sSen” Solnæs Iversen (18, Denmark) is a high potential rifler promoted from Wildcard Academy (ex Astralis Talent), producing a 1.05 rating there.
Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak (23, Poland) steps up as primary AWPer, a veteran from AGO, mouz NXT, Endpoint, Falcons, 9INE, Talon, standing out in the Academy with a 1.23 rating.
Jaxon “Peeping” Cornwell (20, USA) is the lone holdover, returning as rifler and potential IGL from his ex Nouns days.
Darren Moore, Wildcard CDO & Head of Esports: “Over the past few months, I have been building our new Counter Strike department. Our objective is to climb back to the top of the North American rankings and compete globally.”
Looking Ahead in 2026
Now unranked, Wildcard must battle in open qualifiers and locals like CCTs and Fragadelphias to secure VRS points and Major invites.
They kicked off at Fragedelphia Miami (FRAG Miami 2) January 2-4, competing for an $8,000 prize pool against EU and NA foes, with early wins signaling momentum.
