Cyber.bet is a bookmaker that’s worked hard to get where it is today. Sure, there’s some room for improvement when it comes to design, but on the whole the bookmaker does a fantastic job of offering its customers a state-of-the-art, fair and thrilling betting experience. Our Cyber.bet review revealed that the bookmaker offers an incredibly diverse – and varied – selection of esports betting markets, covering events and leagues many of the biggest sites don’t!
Their odds are competitive, and the live betting section could give even the most established bookmakers a run for their money.
They’re also keen on running regular bonuses and promotions, so new and existing players are well-looked after.
While their website is a bit behind the times, setting up an account is easy and straightforward, and once you’ve entered a few personal details you just need to confirm your email address/phone number and you’re all set!
A Growing, Fast-Paced Betting Site
We’ll be frank: Cyber.bet isn’t great at making first impressions. The name itself is a single typo away from a known Cybernet Security brand. Moreover, the homepage greets you with a brash color scheme of white, blue, and yellow and an intrusive, yet practically vacant sidebar.
If you look past this flaw, however, the site is surprisingly easy to use. The homepage does a good job of presenting the Cyber.bet welcome offer and highlighting notable markets in the navigation bar at the top. Scroll down a little, and you’ll be greeted by a large list of esports odds for upcoming matches.
On the left-hand-side of the page you’ll find a “quick” navigation menu which allows you to access all of the various esports betting markets available. There’s also a collection of some of the most popular bets directly on the homepage, and these offer “quick bet slip adding” which means you can select – and place – bets in a matter of seconds.
Clicking on the odds will open up a match-winner bet in the right-hand sidebar, and if you click anywhere else, you’ll be directed to a separate page with other markets for this particular matchup. It’s worth noting that there’s no separate tab for in-play betting. Fortunately, our Cyber.bet review found that live games are conveniently highlighted at the top of the match list, so you will still be able to find them when needed. Combine that with varied in-play markets and wide embedded streams, and you should have no issues live betting at Cyber.bet.
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, though. The customer service is only available via email, and while we had an easy time reaching out to the supporting staff, we’d still like to see live chat or even a dedicated hotline added in the future. We also can’t help feeling that there’s a better way to implement a FAQ section than to stick it into a separate PDF file, so it’d be nice to see improvement in this area.
Cyber.bet Opening Offer for New Customers
Cyber.bet has a very reasonable opening offer for esports betting. All new customers are entitled to a €10 risk-free bet as soon as they make an initial deposit of €10 or higher. This is a solid welcome bonus if you want to get a short-term boost to your bankroll or have a taste of esports betting without being afraid of losing your hard-earned money.
Granted, it does come with some terms and conditions. The first thing to consider is that this bonus is only valid for 14 days after your initial deposit, so make sure to use it before it expires. Moreover, you can only activate your risk-free bet by placing single wagers with odds of 1.50 or higher. Finally, if you win this bet, you will need to fulfill the 5x rollover requirements before submitting any withdrawal requests. Now, rolling over your winnings five times isn’t the hardest thing in the world, but it’s still good to know what to expect from your Cyber bet esports betting bonus.
Esports Activity Level
What esports can I bet on?
Cyber.bet offers a huge selection of esport markets, and you’ll find all the major leagues and events offered, along with some of the smaller, less-common games. Many of these are first-person shooters (FPS) although you’ll also find a plethora of multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games like CSGO, Dota 2, Overwatch, League of Legends, Call of Duty, StarCraft II and Hearthstone. Last year the site went through a major overhaul, and today, they offer more betting opportunities and markets than ever.
For example, they’ve recently added actual sports markets to their site – meaning you’re not just limited to esports. This is a major addition and it’s something we feel that greatly enhanced the overall experience of the player. It’s great to be able to switch things up between esports and real sports betting.
What kinds of bet are offered on esports?
Cyber.bet are well-known for offering a huge variety of betting markets and options for punters to choose from – and from the moment you log into your account you’ll find yourself faced with a near unlimited amount of options. For example, let’s take a look at a popular esports market; CS:GO. Open up any event and you’ll find yourself able to bet on options including match winner, map winner, first-half winner, round winner, handicap, over/under game total, odd/even kill count, and more.
The Dota 2 and League of Legends offers are just as varied. With that, you’ll be able to place bets on match winner, map winner, handicap, over/under game total, and countless objective-focused markets like first team to destroy a turret or first team to draw the First Blood.
Unfortunately, Overwatch offers are restricted to simple match winner wagers. And while this game isn’t on the level of the the above mentioned esports juggernauts, it would still be nice to see more Cyber bet esports betting options for it. However, the other esports markets offered at Cyber.bet are generally pretty good – and despite the bookmaker still being young it’s clear they’re giving some of the “old timers” a run for their money.
Cyberbet offers a wide variety of promotions and bonuses to players – and this includes one-offs (around certain events for example) and weekly promos. You can view the full and up-to-date list of current promotions at their website. If you’re a member of Cyber.bet you should also keep a close eye on your email inbox, as this is where the vast majority of player-specific bonuses and promos will be sent.
Cyber.bet Tournaments Now Available
Tournament betting has become increasingly popular over the past year or two, and it’s a great experience for all involved; players love it, and it gives bettors even more of a unique betting experience.
So far, Cyber bet have focused their tournaments on two primary games; CS:GO and Dota. For example, they offered a wide variety of betting options on the CS:GO Cyber.Bet Summer Cup Tournament, and the Cyberbet Cup Spring Series SEA Tournament also proved to be a major success.
Given the popularity of esports tournaments it’s very likely we’ll see Cyber.bet continue to roll out their tournaments – and we’d expect to see them bringing the tournament structure to many of the other esports markets they offer in the near future, so stay tuned!
Cyber.bet Payment Methods
We should point out that the actual payment methods available to you at Cyber.bet will vary, depending on where in the world you’re located in. This is because some payment processors are only (legally) allowed to operate in certain jurisdictions. However, as a general rule of thumb Cyber.bet offers a great selection of payment methods for you to take advantage of, and you’ll find yourself able to make deposits and withdrawals using all major debit and credit cards including VISA, Maestro and MasterCard.
They also offer a couple of EWallets, including Neteller and Skrill, and some of the other payment methods on offer include QIWI, Yandex Money, AstroPay and WebMoney. We were also really impressed to see that Cyber.bet have now added a Bitcoin esports betting integration. This allows you to make instant and fee-free deposits and withdrawals using the popular cryptocurrency – something even the biggest esports betting sites often struggle to offer!
The transaction fees are noticeably missing, but there are €5 deposit and €20 withdrawal limits. And while deposits are nigh instantaneous, withdrawal requests can take up to 48 hours to process. Also, keep in mind that you need to roll over your deposit amount at least once before withdrawing it. However, if you choose to make a withdrawal using Bitcoin – once Cyber.bet approves your withdrawal request – the funds will be in your Bitcoin wallet in a matter of seconds!
Meet Cyberbet’s Intuitive Mobile APP
Despite only having been in operation for a couple of years, Cybet.bet are keen to make an impact in the esports betting industry – and many experts were surprised to see them launching their own mobile app so soon after opening their doors! The app is called eScore, and it’s available free of charge on all Android devices. There’s also an iOS app in development too, which is expected to be released within the coming months.
The eScore app allows you to easily and quickly “keep tabs” on all of your favourite esports betting markets – whether it be teams, individuals or tournaments. The app updates in real-time (so you don’t need to worry about scores, odds or prices being out of date) and there’s even a full news service portal available through the app. This is ideal for the more experienced bettor as it allows you to access industry news, match previews and more – all from one, centralized mobile app.
If you don’t own an Android device – or don’t want to download the free mobile app – you’ll also be pleased to learn that Cyber.bet offers a fully mobile-optimized website. This can be accessed directly from your mobile’s internet browser where you can then log in to your existing account, or, if you’re a new punter, set up a new account.
Parent Company Information
Cyber.bet (not to be mistaken for Cybernet Security) is operated by a Curaçao-based company Ice Gaming N.V and in Malta by Snowball Gaming Limited for its European version. This company specialized in remote gaming activities, including but not limited to games, gambling, and other operation of betting for clients. It’s worth noting that the company itself is fairly young (founded in September 2018), so it’s yet to prove itself in the esports betting market.
Licensing and Security Measures
Any online gambling website that wants to accept real-money wagers from players must hold a valid online gambling license. This license must be issued from a governmental body – and we’re pleased to say that Cyber.bet do indeed hold such a license. It’s issued by the Curacao eGaming authority, and their license number is publicly displayed at the bottom of their website. If you’d like to verify it for yourself you can easily do so online. It’s: #8048/JAZ2019-062.
This online gambling license allows Cyber.bet to accept players from all over the world, and it also shows that they treat their customers fairly. Online gambling licenses aren’t easy to get, and it’s further testament that Cyber.bet really do abide by the rules and go above and beyond.
Their website doesn’t appear to be using HTTPS technology but don’t let this put you off; your connection is 100% safe and secure and it’s clear the bookmaker has put a significant amount of time and effort into developing their site and ensuring it’s safe to play at.
Cyberbet are now an ESIC Member
The esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) is the largest regulatory body operating within the esports online gambling industry, and it’s designed to ensure that the integrity/fairness of events isn’t compromised by online betting. We were really happy to see that Cyber.bet have now officially joined the ESIC, and they’ll be working closely with them to help combat corruption and prevent match fixing – ensuring all players can continue to enjoy a fair, transparent and safe betting experience.
The fact that Cyber.bet are willing to go to these lengths – despite having been around for less than two years – shows how much they care about the industry and their customers, and it’s a really refreshing change to see such a player-focused, industry-passionate company operating in the esports marketplace.
