FURIA’s Women’s Team Ends CS Run After World Championship
FURIA has confirmed its women’s Counter-Strike roster will compete exclusively in VALORANT going forward, rebranding as FURIAVAL Inclusivo and ending a run that included an ESL Impact world championship.
The organization announced the change on Monday, closing a Counter-Strike chapter that began in 2020, when FURIA first entered the women’s discipline. The roster’s biggest result came at the ESL Impact S7 Finals, where FURIA fe won the tournament to become world champions. The transition closes a highly successful period for the team.

FURIA’s move follows another recent departure from women’s Counter-Strike. Mayline “ASTRA” Champliaud, who was named the best CS2 player in the world in 2025, also moved to VALORANT. Her transition followed concerns about the lack of tournaments and instability in the women’s Counter-Strike scene.
A Scene Losing Its Structure
The backdrop to these moves is ESL’s decision to stop organizing the women’s Impact circuit. ESL Impact had provided a consistent competitive structure for women’s Counter-Strike, with regional competitions leading to an international world championship event each season. The end of the circuit removed one of the scene’s most important tournament systems and has added to uncertainty around its future.

FURIA will now focus on its next competitive chapter in VALORANT under the FURIAVAL Inclusivo name. The organization’s departure from Counter-Strike is another significant loss for a women’s scene searching for a stable future.
What Happens Next
FURIAVAL Inclusivo is beginning a new competitive chapter in VALORANT. No tournament schedule was detailed in the announcement, while the future structure of women’s Counter-Strike remains uncertain following the end of ESL Impact.
