Action Heating Up In CoinPoker’s High Stakes Cash Game World Championship
A stellar cast from the world of online poker is battling it out in 2025’s High Stakes Cash Game World Championship (CGWC) which is running now until December 7.
The tournament being hosted by top crypto poker site CoinPoker has a range of real-money cash prizes up for grabs, and the overall winner will not only be crowned Cash Game World Champion, they will scoop the grand prize of a $35,000 Land-Dweller Rolex.
Four intense weeks of competition got underway on November 10 with PokerStrategy.com keeping up to date with the latest standings on its live competition leaderboard.
Leaderboard standings are measured based on EV $ won, which is the expected value of all-in equity-adjusted winnings.

DavyJones922 Hitting The Front Early On
Roberto Perez aka DavyJones922 is living up to his reputation as one of the best high-stakes No-Limit Hold’em cash game players in the world.
Nine days into the competition the Spanish maestro is streaking away in the lead, having won just over $218,000 from 8,600 hands played and all this despite taking a $72,000 hit along the way.
At this stage his nearest rival TaxHere is the only other player to have reached six figures with winnings topping $103,000 while lolvoidaments (Daniel Negreanu) and SeaLlama (Jake Abdalla) are pushing hard behind.
It all seems to have been a bit too much for 2024 champion Owen PR0DIGY Messere though, after a disastrous $42,000 hit has left him cast adrift with just $6,000 winnings.

Rake Free Poker Games On CoinPoker
CoinPoker wants to see the world’s toughest poker players going card for card for the love of the game, so to help poker’s elite concentrate on earning top bragging rights without worrying about crippling commissions, there is zero rake on CGWC tables.
To spice things up for watching railbirds, some of the tables will automatically show a player’s winning cards, with all players expected to feature at some stage.
Some of the more entertaining players will be invited to play in exclusive Sunday VIP games where they will face some of CoinPoker’s ambassadors.
YouTuber Ryan Depaulo was the opposition on November 16 and in one hand Linus Loeliger called Depaulo’s all-in river bluff with just eight high to win a $12,000 pot.
