Flawless Upper Bracket Run
OpTic Texas powered through the upper bracket with efficiency, delivering 3-0 sweeps against Carolina Royal Ravens and FaZe Vegas. Their upper bracket final clash with Still Orgless followed suit, another clean 3-0 victory fueled by play after play in Search and Destroy and Overload modes.
Still Orgless, featuring the ex-Los Angeles Thieves duo of Dylan “Envoy” Hannon and Dan “Ghosty” Rothe, tumbled to the lower bracket. There, they rallied past G2 Minnesota, dropping the opener Hardpoint but rebounding with a 250-222 Colossus Hardpoint win and a 6-4 Den Search and Destroy triumph to reach their first Grand Final.
Grand Final Goes the Distance
The decisive series went all seven maps, with OpTic Texas edging a 4-3 victory. Clutch performance in the final Scar Search and Destroy map winning 6-4—proved the difference, showcasing the defending champions S&D elite once more.
OpTic pocketed the top prize of $25,000 from the $75,000 pool, setting a strong tone for their title defense.
