Firstly, for those that forgot, the BLAST Bounty tournament series is the follow-up to the former BLAST Premier, following Valve’s new emphasis on an open tournament structure.

Set to take place several times a year, the BLAST Bounty tournaments feature $500,000 prize pools, a thrilling Copenhagen venue and the best CS2 players in the world.

In addition, the Wildcard Invites Team Falcons and a team to be announced later join the competition.

With the teams revealed, headlines are being made considering this is the first time ever that female CS2 teams are competing alongside Tier 1 CS2 teams.

Naturally, the challenge for CS2 betting sites is properly gauging how female CS2 teams stack up against Tier 1 teams.

Indeed, it’s very likely that the female teams will not be ranked highly by the community, esports betting sites and Tier 1 professionals. However, we wouldn’t count them out depending on the match-up.

Specifically, a lower-ranked Tier 1 team could definitely be upset by the best female CS2 teams in the world. Accordingly, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get ahead of the odds with better judgment. Notably, the recent VALORANT headline of a Game Changers professional joining Tier 1 comes to mind.

Regardless of the outcome, Valve is definitely on the right track by opening tournaments to any team in the world, contributing to interesting storylines.
