In this betting analysis, we’re looking at the favourites and offering our take on where they stand in the competition.

Team Vitality – Clear Favourites

Ahead of the tournament, Vitality was one of the clear best CS2 teams alongside the likes of Team Spirit after winning ESL Pro League Season 21.

At the BLAST Open Spring Group Stage, Vitality has remained untouchable. Taking down Astralis, Virtus.pro and MOUZ, they haven’t even lost a single map at the tournament.

As a high seed, they’ve earned a favourable Semifinal match against either Natus Vincere or Team Spirit. Indeed, a Semifinal match between Spirit and Vitality would be an awesome spectacle which remains in the favour of Vitality.

Pretty straightforward prediction – Vitality is the outright favourite.

Team Spirit – Slipping in the Standings

Although favourites, CS2 betting sites are ranking Team Spirit beneath Eternal Fire. Specifically, this is after Spirit conceded an unexpected loss to MOUZ in Group A during the Semifinal. Although this was a loss, some important context is that MOUZ only won the last map after an extensive overtime, claiming it at 25-22.

With such a marginal loss, we still feel quite good about Spirit although they’re starting in the Quarterfinal against Natus Vincere.

Favoured to win this match, they’ll have a chance to prove their worth in a possible rematch against Vitality.

Eternal Fire or MOUZ – Different Luck

To conclude our BLAST Open Spring Playoffs predictions, we’re looking at Eternal Fire and MOUZ.

Starting with Eternal Fire, a hot streak has them punching their ticket to the Semifinal. Looking at their record, it can be argued that Eternal Fire did enjoy a relatively easier Group B run. Consistently placing 5th at multiple events in 2025, they stacked up well against weaker CS2 ranked sides such as Liquid, G2 and Natus Vincere.

Bearing this in mind, they’re in a good spot to make it to the Grand Final.

However, we’d rank MOUZ higher for a couple of reasons. Firstly, MOUZ had a considerably tougher Group, facing both Spirit and Vitality with a strong showing. Although losing to Vitality, they took 11 rounds in both map losses. In addition, after recently winning PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, this team has proven to show their potential in high-stress situations.

MOUZ has every chance of making it to the Grand Final and facing Vitality or Spirit.

Meanwhile, we’re not too sure about G2 or Na’Vi making a dent in the competition, though we welcome any surprises.
