Group A – Three Clear Favourites

There’s no question that Team Spirit is Group A’s Dota 2 betting favourite. For those unaware, earlier this season Spirit won DreamLeague Season 25 and finished 4th at PGL Wallachia Season 3. Moreover, after dominating the Eastern Europe Qualifiers for multiple majors, they’re the most likely to win the group.

When Spirit slipped up at PGL Wallachia, Team Liquid were right there to captivate the opportunity to win their first bit of silverware of 2025. However, beyond their surprising win at PGL Wallachia, they’ve placed 7-8thg at four out of five tournaments in 2025. Specifically, this involved losses to PARIVISION and Talon at different events – so they need to watch out.

Further down the line according to the odds, PARIVISION has had higher average placings compared to Liquid. Besides finishing in the podium for two events in 2025, PARIVISION beat Liquid in the Grand Final of ESL One Bangkok 2024. Bearing this in mind, they have every chance of finishing second in this group over Liquid.

Meanwhile, the bottom half of the group has Nigma, Talon and Shopify. Recently finishing 3-4th at BLAST Slam II, Nigma Galaxy has the best chance of finishing fourth based on recent performances if you wish to bet on Dota 2.

Group B – Tight at the Top

At the ESL One Raleigh Group Stage, Group B offers a very tight competition in the race for the first seed. Indeed, Dota betting sites are finding it difficult to split hairs.

Based on recency bias alone, BetBoom has the edge after winning FISSURE Universe: Episode 4, a run in which they championed wins over Spirit, Team Tidebound and Gaimin Gladiators to claim the title. Considering how recent that was, they’ll likely maintain this momentum.

Above, GG.Bet has the likes of Falcons coming in second – but we wouldn’t be too sure. Specifically, with the announcement of “Malr1ne” as a stand-in for the team instead of “Quinn”, we have no idea how this team will operate. Very likely, they could struggle playing with a stand-in, so we’d rank them a little lower than the odds in our Dota 2 predictions.

For this reason, we’d take Tundra over Falcons. Tundra’s formula hasn’t been shaken and they remain a consistent threat with two consecutive second place finishes at PGL Wallachia and DreamLeague Season 25.

At the bottom of ESL One Raleigh Group Stage, Team Tidebound has demonstrated the best results and has the best chance of moving forward over HEROIC and AVULUS.
