GamerLegion’s FISSURE Playground 3 Run Ends Without a Series Win
TYLOO eliminated GamerLegion from FISSURE Playground 3 with a 2-0 sweep on Day 2, closing out Ancient 13-7 and Mirage 13-6 to end the European side’s run in Suzhou without a single series win at the event.
The result keeps the Chinese side alive in front of the home crowd as the $1 million CS2 event moves toward its final group-stage day. GamerLegion join FaZe, The MongolZ and BIG among the teams eliminated by the end of Day 2.
TYLOO Close Out the Sweep on Ancient and Mirage
TYLOO took control on Ancient, winning 13-7 to put GamerLegion under pressure before the second map. They carried that advantage into Mirage, where a 13-6 result completed the 2-0 series victory and confirmed GamerLegion’s elimination.
The two map scores gave TYLOO a clear route through the elimination match. For GamerLegion, the loss brought their tournament to a close without a series win. TYLOO, meanwhile, remained in contention in the lower portion of the bracket heading into the final group-stage schedule.
Day 2 also settled several other places in the tournament. FURIA and BETBOOM secured playoff spots, joining MIBR and Legacy as the four teams already through to the knockout stage. FURIA beat PARIVISION 2-0, while BETBOOM defeated Astralis 2-0. Earlier in the day, MIBR swept 9z and Legacy completed a 2-0 win over Alliance.
Elsewhere, G2 recovered from an opening loss to Astralis by beating BIG 2-1. BIG took Cache 13-8, but G2 responded with a 13-7 win on Mirage and a 13-10 victory on Ancient. Those results, alongside TYLOO’s sweep of GamerLegion, left the remaining lower-bracket matches to determine the final playoff places.
Bracket and What Is Next
GamerLegion leave Suzhou having failed to secure a series win across the event, while TYLOO advance to face Alliance in another elimination match on September 10. That match is one of two elimination contests scheduled for the final group-stage day, alongside 9z versus G2.
The September 10 schedule also includes Astralis versus 5star and magic versus PARIVISION in the lower brackets. MIBR versus BETBOOM and Legacy versus FURIA are playoff seeding matches between teams that have already qualified for the knockout stage.
The final group-stage day will decide the last two playoff teams and establish the seeding for the four sides already through. The playoffs begin September 11, followed by the semifinals on September 12 and the best-of-five Grand Final on September 13.
