Eternal Fire Stay Alive as BC.Game Exit IEM Beijing Qualifier

Eternal Fire advanced to the second day of the IEM Beijing 2026 open qualifier, keeping Vladyslav ‘Kvem’ Korol’s side in contention for one of four places in the closed stage, according to Sport.ua.

BC.Game, featuring Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostylev, exited the open qualifier after losing 13-11 to Nemiga. Eternal Fire, meanwhile, moved on to the second day of qualifying.

What the Open Qualifier Decides

Only the top four teams from the open qualifier will earn slots in the closed stage. Eternal Fire’s progress to the second day therefore does not yet secure a place in that next phase.

The winners of the open qualifier will join a closed-stage field that includes Ukrainian team B8, as well as 3DMAX, paiN and HEROIC, among others.

What Happens Next

Eternal Fire remains in the open qualifier with a closed-stage berth at stake, while BC.Game’s run has ended following its defeat to Nemiga.
